Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who came to support our Eagles in their sold-out British Basketball League game on Friday 3 March.
Following the game, it has been brought to our attention that a number of vehicles parked on Scotswood Road received Penalty Charge Notices from Newcastle City Council.
On Monday morning the Eagles Community Foundation, owners and operators of the Vertu Motors Arena, entered into discussions with council officials seeking a resolution for the affected individuals.
The council have advised that, in lieu of a further meeting with the foundation, all recipients should appeal the Penalty Charge Notice on the council’s website.
Appeal Your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)Newcastle Eagles and the Vertu Motors Arena would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to our customers and we hope that all issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
Whilst the foundation continue to discuss this issue with the council, we advise not parking on Scotswood Road itself.
