On Saturday 9th June club and foundation staff were joined by some of our sponsors on a trek to the summit of the highest mountain in the British Isles to raise much needed additional funds for our Eagles Community Arena.

After an early start around 7:45am ‘Team Eagles’ took on their Ben Nevis Challenge in excellent time, reaching the summit at 1,345 metres above sea level just before lunch time.

Hundreds of Eagles supporters, families whose children take part in our community programmes and some corporate partners of both the club and foundation donated towards the challenge sponsoring the hikers and the current total including gift aid, texts and offline donations, at time of writing, is a massive £3,500!

The total is still growing and if you can add to it too please donate in one of the following ways:

  • Text EAGL35 and the amount you would like to donate to 70070
    • For example to donate £5 just text 70070 with “EAGL35 £5” in the message.
  • Donate towards the challenge online through our JustGiving page.
    • Please add gift aid to increase the value of your donation.

On behalf of everyone at the Eagles and all the thousands of people it will benefit from when we open the doors this winter we want to say a huge thank you for your generosity and support as always.
