The Newcastle Eagles are putting part of their success down to good night sleep courtesy of 1907 Beds. The North-East firm and its sister company, Palatine Beds, have produced 7ft beds to accommodate the Newcastle Eagles players who hail from all over the world including Bulgaria, the USA, Lithuania, and the UK.

In an interview for the Northern Echo and the Journal, 1907 Bed’s sales and marketing manager, Andrew Waters said, “As we are able to produce natural and memory foam mattresses to any specification, we are more than happy to use our expertise to craft the required mattresses and support our local basketball team.”

Newcastle Eagles player Joel Madourie said “As a professional sportsmen and women we know how important getting a good nights’ sleep is to your mental and physical health, but as one of several Eagles players over six feet I do find standard size beds don’t quite measure up.”

Thanks to 1907 Beds Joel and his teammates are now able to get a proper rest and enjoy a good night sleep.
