Super League Basketball (SLB) have today confirmed two fixtures changes for the Newcastle Eagles women’s team in March and April.

Last month, an injury stricken Eagles roster forced the postponement their tip-off against Manchester Basketball and both clubs have been working together with the SLB to reschedule the game.

Manchester Basketball still have the potential to reach the SLB Cup Final, which takes place on Sunday 22 March so we have agreed to schedule them as our opposition for our Thursday 2 April ‘Big One’ tip-off.

Leicester Riders, who were due to visit us for that ‘Good Thursday’ fixture will instead now travel Tyneside on Friday 20 March.

More details about plans for our 2026 ‘Big One’ Women’s SLB game are set to be revealed next week.
