Newcastle Eagles advancement to the Super League Basketball (SLB) Trophy Semi-Finals and receiving a home draw in the Cup First Round adds three games, including two at home, to the men’s December schedule.
These fixtures have now been confirmed by the clubs and SLB officials and we at pleased to announce the following changes.
The Eagles will face the Riders in the SLB Trophy Semi-Finals with the first leg taking place at the Vertu Motors Arena on Friday 6 December and the second leg away in Leicester on Sunday 22 December:
In the SLB Cup First Round, as the only team to receive a home draw, our Eagles host Caledonia Gladiators in a single game knockout for a place in the Quarter-Finals brackets:
In addition, our Championship game at Leicester Riders that was set for Sunday 22 December has now been moved to the new date of Sunday 15 December:
Our SLB Championship home tip-off against Cheshire, which was previously scheduled for Friday 13 December, will be rescheduled in due course to allow for the Phoenix to play their Cup First Round game at Nottingham Hoods on Saturday 14 December.
Any existing tickets for Friday 13 December have been automatically transferred for the Friday 6 December SLB Trophy Semi-Final and those customers are advised to email [email protected] if the cannot make that date and need to move to a different game.
The impact of these two additions affects a number of games resulting in changes to the following games in the new year that have been rearranged as follows:
