Every Christmas our Esh Group Eagles Newcastle squad take time out to visit the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle to meet the patients and staff, and drop off some early presents from Santa.

The Freeman Hospital is one of only two hospitals in the UK performing heart transplants for babies and children.

This afternoon the team took foam hands kindly donated by our sponsors Northern Print Solutions and sweet treats from Pig N Mix Sweet Company, bringing smiles to the faces of all the kids and big-kids alike!

Everyone at the Eagles wish all the fantastic staff on the Children’s Heart Unit all the very best for the festive period. They do an amazing job, as the players witnessed today.
