For the performance athlete, we provide the major route to professionalism by having our own Team Northumbria national league teams for both men and women and a direct link to the Newcastle Eagles.

The Men’s team plays in NBL Division One and the women compete in the WBBL.

The recreational athlete can also enjoy the basketball life at Northumbria University by participating at other levels of competition, be it the 2nd teams who compete in national or local league teams.
