This Sunday’s FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifier between Great Britain and Latvia has sold-out over 48 hours before the two teams tip-off.

Fans of the two nations will flock to the home of Newcastle Eagles this weekend as once again the Vertu Motors Arena plays host to international basketball competition.

The venue’s sales records were already broken with over 1,000 tickets being snapped up in the first 24 hours of going on sale and demand has been high what is set to be a thriller on Tyneside.
